Thanksgiving is not what it use to be. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, because I bet no one else had a day like mine. Thanksgiving dinner is so much easier now.

I slept in until lunch time. I use to get up at dawn to start cooking that bird. Not any more. I learned a secret. Not only is deep-fried turkey good, but hubby cooks it, and it only takes 45 minutes.

Today, I give thanks for my family. I love them each so much, and with each passing day that love grows stronger. I thank God for each of them every day.

As we gather with our loved ones today we are blessed. Thank God for all He has given us.

Let's give thanks to the men and women of our Armed Forces who can't be home with their families this holiday. Thank them and their families for their sacrifices to keep us safe.
