Small embers, still teeming with a spark littered the gathering of tiny twigs and leaves while the flames crept upon its feathers. While resting, its small, almost pitiful seeming leg kicked weakly, setting the entire nest afire. The silent cocoon erupted, a volcano spreading destruction to what was nearest. In an instant, the bird twitched itself awake and cawed softly, lulled by the realization for some odd reason.
