Did you know this is National Park Week? There are 401 national parks, including seashores, battlefields, historic homes, archeological sites,
and spectacular natural areas. There is at least one national park in every state, and 99 percent of the counties in America have
recreational facilities such as playgrounds and trails funded by the
National Park Service's Land and Water Conservation Fund.

March is designated Red Cross Month
![]() |
| By the ARC |
If you've never needed the American Red Cross, you're very
lucky. Hopefully you never will. But, I know they were there for us when we
needed them. They helped us while we were stationed overseas in the military
and we couldn't reach our family. Our concern grew to the point we had the ARC
get in touch with them and have them contact us to ease our minds. In another
instance while we were stationed in Alabama and our family was in N.C., we were
contacted by the ARC that my father-in-law had passed away. We were then able
to get the ball rolling to go home.
