March is designated Red Cross Month

By the ARC
If you've never needed the American Red Cross, you're very lucky. Hopefully you never will. But, I know they were there for us when we needed them. They helped us while we were stationed overseas in the military and we couldn't reach our family. Our concern grew to the point we had the ARC get in touch with them and have them contact us to ease our minds. In another instance while we were stationed in Alabama and our family was in N.C., we were contacted by the ARC that my father-in-law had passed away. We were then able to get the ball rolling to go home.

Hurricane Irene: Get help, donate now to the American Red Cross

The American Red Cross has started a relief effort to help those affected by Hurricane Irene. If you need shelter, you can do a search for one that is closest to you.
