The UPS Store notifies customers of potential data compromise and incident resolution

 The UPS Store Hacked 

The UPS Store discovered malware at 51 locations, in 24 states of 4,470 franchised center locations throughout the United States. Certain customers' information, who used a credit or debit cards at the impacted franchised center locations between Jan. 20 and Aug. 11, 2014, may have been exposed. For most locations, the period of exposure to this malware began after March 26. The malware was eliminated as of August 11 and customers can shop securely at all The UPS Store locations according to The UPS Store.

How are we supposed to protect ourselves when large organizations let out private information get stolen? When will the US get smart and start making changes to protect us against hackers? Our lives, our security, is at risk. 

It's happened again. This time it was China who declared cyber warfare against us. And, they weren't playing around. They struck Community Health Systems, 206 hospitals in 29 states, gathering private information from 4.5 million victims.
