Since 1978, the first Sunday after Labor Day has been officially designated as Grandparents Day. 

More than a reason to sell greeting cards, this annual event recognizes the strength, love and guidance grandparents provide to families. Although the recognized date is Sept. 7 this year, any day is a great opportunity to celebrate grandparents.

We're going to be grandparents - again

Congratulations to our son and daughter-in-law on the news of their adoption. We are so happy for them. 

God has not only blessed them, and their unborn baby, but my husband and I will become grandparents for the fourth time.

We will soon learn if it's a boy or girl - can't wait.

My husband and I enjoyed the day with our grandchildren.

The girls went to see the new Barbie movie, and the boys went fishing. Then we all met and went out to eat dinner together.

Nickelodeon has some questionable links containing adult, violent material

I love Nickelodeon, but I trust them to monitor what they let my grandkids have access to. What I found is Addicting Games - adult and violence sites that do not belong on Nickelodeon.
