I use detangle conditioner
Takes a while to get tangles out of youngest granddaughters hair,k but with detangler and lots of time and sweet words we finally get it done, if she braids her hair at night before bed, not near as many tangles it helps.
I handle brushing wet hair and those nasty tangles by using a generous amount of leave-in conditioner.
Either I brush as soon as I get out of the shower or I have to wait with the tangles until my hair is completely dry to brush it. If I don't choose one of these I end up tearing out a LOT of my hair.
It's best to comb through when wet, and always start with the ends first, and slowly work your way up to the roots--this prevents split ends.
I use a wet brush now and it is fabulous! I wish I knew about it years ago!!!
I'm actually looking for a solution. My hair gets horribly tangled....arg.
I use a leave in conditioner.
I use a wide toothed pick to comb through my hair, which is kind of thick. I also put a little leave-in conditioner. Really just a little, it goes on barely a drop.
I just take it easy and start from bottom of hair and work upwards. A little time consuming but less wear and tear.
i prevent tangles by brushing my hair throughly before hand and using a detangling shampoo.ty ;)
I use leave in products to help detangle then very slowly work my way from root to tip.
Thanks for the chance.
I brush it very slowly!

I always use conditioner and start at the bottom.
Just start from the bottom and comb up
I condition the tangles and then hope for the best!
