Big Lots helping schools share $120,000; Your votes will determine the winners

Big Lots is committed to programs that enhance the quality of education at schools in need of financial support in the communities they serve. For the fifth year in a row, the Lots2Give program continues this mission.

Select schools across America have been chosen to participate in the Big Lots 2012 Lots2Give program. The schools were asked to submit a short video and brief essay explaining why their school is in need of financial support.

These videos are now posted online through July 8, for public voting. Winning schools will share $120,000 in cash prizes, which include thirty $2,000 third-place prizes, four $5,000 second-place prizes, two $10,000 first-place prizes, and one $20,000 grand prize!

Now, it's your turn to vote for your favorite videos. Then those votes will determine the winners. They need your votes to win.

Participating schools will also be the recipients of an in-store donation program. You can help the schools by donating $1 or $5 at participating Big Lots through July 8, and 100% of your donations will go to participating schools.

Thanks! I voted. We have Big Lots here in Arkansas, but no Arkansas schools were entered, so I voted for a SC school.
