Millions of credit cards breached
A company that processes major credit and debit cards, has been hacked. Global Payments, a third party entity, is notifying banks and other companies so they can notify their consumers about the compromise of the accounts.
It doesn't matter where you bank or where you shop. Every time you swipe your card, the information goes to a third party like Global Payments before it is sent to the major card company.
Check your bank statements and credit cards statements as soon as possible. The thieves will use the card number to make charges to those accounts.
