Our three grandchildren are excited to be going back so they can see their friends. For one, he'll finish high school this year. For another, he begins high school this year. And our granddaughter is now a third grader. We're so proud of all three of them.

Great American Cookie

Today is Tax Day. I'm always happy when it's over, because hopefully that means our taxes are done. 

It also means today is celebrated by businesses with deals and freebies to help us ease the pain. In some cases they are a one-day only event, but some last longer.

Vote and get Election Day freebies; and more

Taken through the glass window at our Panda Express, it says we get a free serving of Orange Chicken when we bring in an "I Voted" sticker today. 

Our Panda Express is giving away a free serving of Orange Chicken to voters today. Call your store to see if it is participating.

If it free, it's for me, especially today

Since the tax man takes what little we had left, today companies nationwide are giving back. Free sounds pretty nice to me today.
