Please vote for Charlotte Haas, it only takes seconds - time is running out

One of my friends at MomDot, Trisha Haas, has entered her daughter, Charlotte, into a NEXT DIRECT Model Competition to win $100K in scholarship money. Look at this face. She is so cute, and very smart already, at age 5.
Her mom helps everyone any way she can, and her dad served in the U.S. Air Force in Afghanistan.

I would like to help them get a head start on their daughter's college degree.

Time is running out. There are only 5 days left to vote. No registration is required. You just click the link, enter your email, and that's your vote. You can do it once a day per email. If you have more than one email address, please submit them all. You will not receive any emails if you do not check the box.

Prayers for a mommy blogger, Shellie

Shellie Ross lost her little, precious 2-year-old son, Bryson Drago Ross, in an accidental drowning yesterday.

Her spirit is broken, her world is crushed, and her husband, I hope by now, has arrived at the hospital so they can mourn together.

This tragedy is unlike anything I can even imagine. A child shouldn't die before a parent. And never so young.

Shellie needs our prayers. She needs our strength. I wish I could erase a little of her pain.
Shellie, @Military_Mom, posted pictures of her baby on Twitter, so I am sharing this angel with my readers.

Light a candle and pray for Shellie and her family. They will need that more than anything else. They need friends, love and encouragement.
Trisha of MomDot, is organizing so we can help her with what she needs.

Dear Heavenly Father, bless this family and give them the strength they need to make it through every minute of every day they now have to face without their youngest angel.

Protect them and hold them and surround them with all your love so they know their son is not alone.

Show them the way to find inner peace. Help them find the answers they seek through prayer.

Let them know they will always have  their son in their hearts, and he will be with them always until they meet again.

In your name I pray. Amen.

MomDot is looking for a few good bloggers to join our forum - like you

When I started blogging in April, I didn't know anything. I mean zero about networking.

I wanted to win some of the cool prizes I saw when I looked at blogs, and learned you have a better chance to win if you have a blog.

Where do moms go to learn about blogging? The answer came to me when I found MomDot - where the blogging moms go.

I started reading and asking questions and was able to learn from other moms. There's also a few - okay, a lot of laughs along the way.

MomDot is one of the most active blogger forums in the blogosphere. Newbie as well as professional bloggers are welcome, so I joined, and another world opened up.

The index for the private boards include: General Board, Blogs, Ask MomDot, Plea Board, Contests, Info, Intro, and Announcements.

Then the V.I.P., co-opp PR to blogger pitching area, which you may join after four active weeks on the forum, is made available to you to make pitches for reviews or giveaways.

If you were previously a member and haven't been there in a while, you're in for a surprise. The forum has been revamped by Trisha, the administrator.

"Our members will tell you that our forums are highly addicting and tons of fun," said Trisha.

MomDot welcomes dad bloggers to join as well as moms. The only requirements are that you remain active, and you make no personal attacks, to remain in the forum.

Trisha said there are some exciting opportunities coming up in the near future, so it would be a great time to join. We hope to see you there.

All you have to do is fill out an forum application.
