We have always put our change in jars. Our grandkids have spent hours helping us count and roll coins. But, we have found an easier option and it's free - Coinstar at Bi-Lo. I've never tried Coinstar, so I was excited to see how it worked.

Cash in $40 of loose change at Coinstar and you'll get a $10 gift card free


Happy holidays from Coinstar. Every little bit helps and Coinstar wants to help.

Coinstar is promoting their new option to turn your change into a gift certificate. When you turn $40 cash into a gift certificate, you'll get an additional $10 gift card free.

Gather all of the pennies, nickles, dimes and quarters you can find, and head to a Coinstar to cash in $40 in a single transaction to take part in this offer.

There are gift cards from major retailers like Amazon.com, iTunes, Lowes and many more. When you cash in $40, there will be a claim form at the Coinstar location. You must fill out the form completely and mail it to: Coinstar Holiday 09 Bonus Offer, Department D, PO Box 6112 Douglas, AZ 85655-6112.

All transactions must take place before December 6, and claims must be postdated by January 6, 2010.

Official Rules

To get your free $10 gift card by mail, follow these instructions carefully.
Obtain an official claim form when you convert in a single transaction at least 40 U.S. dollars (in coins only) into a gift card or eCertificate at participating Coinstar Centers. The claim form will be displayed at the end of qualified Coinstar® receipts.
Valid Dates are 12 am on 11/9/ – 11:59 pm on 12/6/
Complete the claim form in its entirety.
Submit the completed claim form. Claims must be postmarked by 1/6/10 and received by 1/13/10. Claims postmarked after the applicable date, incomplete submissions, and illegible submissions will be returned as ineligible.

Receive the $10 gift card via mail. Allow 6–8 weeks for processing. If terms and conditions are not met, the $10 gift card will not be sent. Coinstar is not responsible for any claims lost, damaged, or delayed in transit.
