Crawdads Fall Fling today begins at 11am

Annual free event includes turkey raffle, hayrides, ticket deals

The Hickory Crawdads annual Fall Fling is scheduled for today, Saturday, Nov. 14. The autumn event runs from 11 am - 1 pm at L.P. Frans Stadium.

The family-friendly event is free to the public. It will be a lot of fun.

Activities will include hayrides, arts and crafts, inflatable bounce house and speed pitch, and more. Fans will be able to purchase their favorite ballpark foods at a discounted price, including hot dogs, hamburgers, french-fries, and Pepsi products, with warm apple cider and hot chocolate available as well. Every fan will also be able to pick up a free bag of popcorn. 

In addition, fans will have the opportunity to win one of two free Thanksgiving turkeys via a raffle drawing, courtesy of Galaxy Food Centers. The Crawdads South Atlantic League Championship trophy will also be on display and available for pictures, while the 'Dads team store will be open for fans to purchase SAL Championship gear or merchandise with the team's redesigned logos. 

The Fall Fling will be the last day for fans to take advantage of the 'Dads current ticket book deal, which includes 4 free ticket vouchers in addition to the 10 included in the regular ticket book. 

Fans will also be able to purchase a Claw Club membership for a discounted price of $29 by donating select food items for the Catawba Country Backpack Program .
