Family fun at the NASCAR Hall of Fame today

Family fun begins at 10am at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte today. You can meet the new mascot of the NASCAR Hall of Fame, Champ The Cheetah, and get your photo taken with him, and NASCAR Hall of Fame Club Members and more.

Rookie Racers Kids Club members get their photos free.

Sir Purr from the Carolina Panthers, Homer the Dragon from the Charlotte Knights, Chubby from the Charlotte Checkers and Blue from the Charlotte Hounds will be on hand to welcome Champ to Charlotte. Plus, 100 lucky kids will receive a Champ the Cheetah t-shirt.

The plaza will be packed with games and activities – all free of charge, including a bounce house, face painting, balloon artist, caricature artist, power wheel racing, live DJ, and prize giveaways.

It's the first weekend for the NASCAR Hall of Fame’s newest exhibit, “24: A Tribute to Jeff Gordon,” and to celebrate, all children will be admitted to the NASCAR Hall of Fame today for $2.40.

The offer is good for day-of admission only and must be purchased at the Box Office. Discounted offer not valid on phone or Internet orders.

We love NASCAR, so that sounds like such a fun thing to do. Too bad we're in CA!
