“Taste the Change”: Applebee’s reinvents menu with unique grill classics, invite s millions to join celebration

In celebration of 35 years and a new and improved menu of bar and grill classics, Applebee’s will give away an estimated two million appetizers at nearly 2,000 restaurants nationwide on its “Taste the Change” Day today. 

New Sriracha Shrimp

Guests can enjoy the offer throughout the day, while tasting other new menu items at reduced prices. Two popular new items will be featured at the free sampling event today. 

The Sriracha Shrimp features quality shrimp, fried with Applebee’s special coating, which provides a light, flaky crunch, then tossed in a Sriracha Chile Lime sauce. New Churro S’Mores are twisted cinnamon churro twists, served with a warm marshmallow and chocolate dip. 

WHAT: Free Sriracha Shrimp and Churro S’Mores appetizers, available to every dine-in guest at every participating Applebee’s restaurant.  

Minimum one sampler per party. Additional samplers may be provided depending on party size. Selection of sampler(s) provided may vary. See participating restaurant for details.

WHY: In its 35 years, Applebee’s has grown to become the nation’s leading casual dining chain. To celebrate its anniversary, Applebee’s has dramatically reinvented its menu. All of America is invited to “Taste the Change” today.

Two new items on the menu are Triple Hog Dare Ya and Kobe Style Meatballs.
