Free event includes Easter Egg Hunt, CVCC game
The Hickory Crawdads are opening their doors for their annual Open House on Saturday, April 4
at L.P. Frans Stadium from 10am - 1pm, with the free event including an
Easter Egg hunt, ticket deals, and a Catawba Valley Community College
baseball game.
The ceremonial kick-off to the season will feature an Easter theme,
highlighted by an on-field Easter Egg Hunt at 11:30 am for all children
12 and under. The hunt will be followed by a CVCC baseball game
beginning at noon.
Adult fans will be able to grab prize-filled Easter Eggs of their own
by purchasing either tickets or Crawdads team merchandise. For every
$30 spent on either tickets or merchandise, fans will be able to draw a
special egg containing prizes including free parking, meal vouchers, and
tickets. Three grand prize eggs will also be up for grabs, with a free
Party Patio, Suite, and new BP Experience hidden inside the eggs.
A special Season Opening ticket package will be on sale as well, with
the deal including a ticket to the Crawdads exhibition game against
Lenoir-Rhyne University on Tues. April 7th, a ticket to the 'Dads Season Opener vs. Hagerstown on Thurs. April 9th, and a ticket to the first Fireworks Friday game of the season on April 10th. The Open House exclusive package will be available for only $10.
Other attractions at the Open House will include the inflatable
bounce house, speed pitch, and an arts & crafts table. Discounted
concessions will be sold at the event, with free popcorn available along
with $1hot dogs and Pepsi products.
