By Aaron Cox / Hickory Crawdads
The Hickory Crawdads annual Fall Fling will be held on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 11am-1pm at L.P. Frans Stadium. The family-friendly event is free to the public, with activities including hayrides, arts and crafts, inflatable bounce house, speed pitch, bobbing for apples, and more.
The Catawba Valley Showcase baseball game will also be played on the field. In addition to ballpark favorites in hotdogs, french fries and Pepsi products, the Crawdads will also sell seasonal favorites such as pumpkin/apple pie, warm apple cider and hot chocolate to go along with free popcorn.
In addition, fans will have the opportunity to win one of two free Thanksgiving turkeys via a raffle drawing, courtesy of Galaxy Food Centers. Fans will also be able to take advantage of the 'Dads current Holiday Ticket Book Deal, which includes three free vouchers, and an All-Star Game lanyard with any 2015 ticket book. That's 13 for $70.
Claw Club Memberships can be purchased for half price ($19) by donating select food items to the Catawba County Backpack Program. For more information regarding the Crawdads Fall Fling, call the 'Dads front office at (828) 322-3000.
