The Magical World Of Sebella: Legend of Halloween
Host: Life in a House of TestosteroneCan you believe it's almost Halloween? It's time to pick out costumes and decorate our homes. And, even start buying candy to give out to the ghosts and goblins who will come to visit on Oct. 31.
Halloween means a variety of things to a variety of people. For the little ones, it is the promise of dressing up in their favorite costume, going door-to-door with mom and dad and scoring tons of candy.
For the older children, there is the theme and planning for the Halloween decorations, or possibly planning a spooktacular party for their friends. Regardless of the age, they all agree on one thing - there is mystery and magic in the air and the season is indescribable.
Once again, Ms. Berg takes us on a magical adventure to Skullvilla on All Hallows' Eve. Grandma takes Sebella and her little brother, Drac to the Black Cat Cafe. They are also accompanied by Sebella's best friend, Kendall and Sebella's grumpy cousin, Prudence. Their traditional dinner goes along fine, until Grandma is grabbed by a hairy paw and disappears!
Could the Legend of Halloween actually be true? Find out for yourself as Sebella, Drac, Kendall and Prudence attempt to track down Grandma and rescue her from the scary legend as they travel through a land of candy, scary swamps and up a mountain to find the three little werewolves.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and so did my 12 year old. He was laughing throughout the book at the silly antics of Drac. I think he identified with Drac on a personal level, which is something that makes book reading so much fun! I would highly recommend this book for a bit of Halloween fun with your children!

My Twitter links are not processing. Could that be because I'm using an ipad?
