Summer fun isn't done #kidsskatefree

Summer is in full swing, and maybe the troops are getting restless. If you're looking for something cool for them to do that's active, and free, try taking them skating.

  • A fun way to increase muscular strength and cardiorespiratory endurance.
  • A way to burn anywhere from 330 to 600 calories per hour.
  • A Great for improving balance and flexibility.
  • A fantastic source of aerobic exercise.
  • A key to weight control.
  • Easy to learn.
  • A great tension reliever and enthusiasm builder.
  • An excellent way to help maintain good health.

In our state of NC, we have several locations already accepting kids skate free. I've listed them below.

To register for kids skate free, you first have to find your local skating center's page. To do this simply go to the Locations Page.  Once you find the center, click on the green "Register for This Skating Center" banner. Once you have filled out the form, you will receive an email asking you to verify your email address. Once you have done that you will a registered member of Kids Skate Free. Please keep in mind your first set of passes will not be ready until Sunday of that week.

I love to skate and it has been a while. I used to skate as a kid and thought I was quite the skater at the time. I am a lousy ice skater but roller skating is a great way to exercise. This is great for kid for sure. Thanks for bringing back some old memories. Rita Spratlen
