When you dehydrate fruit, meat or veggies, they last a lot longer and cost a lot less. You can't beat making your own jerky. We have made beef and deer jerky for years. And, we know what we put in it, too.
"New Digitally Controlled" unit! Top mounted fan eliminates liquids
dripping into the heater chamber. Expands to a giant 20 trays so you can
dry large quantities all at once! 1000 watts of drying power means you
can dry more, faster.
Patented Converga-Flow® forces heated air down the
exterior pressurized chamber, then horizontally across each individual
tray, converging in the center, for fast, even and nutritious drying.
Fast, Powerful Fan! A quiet, 2,400-RPM motor and specially designed 4-1/2 inch fan mean faster, more nutritious drying. Adjustable Thermostat! The adjustable 90-160 degree F digital control gives you the flexibility to get the best results.
As needs grow, this four-tray unit can be expanded with accessory Add-A-Trays®, up to 20 trays (20 sq. ft.) Drying pressure adjusts automatically to the number of trays.
Included accessories: No-Spill Fruit Roll Sheet, Clean-A-Screen®, Jerky Spice Packet and Cure.

I would use to make my husband jerky and to dry veggies and fruit
I would make banana chips! My mom use to have a dehydrator when I was little and I would love to have one to make things like she use to for our son
I am a huge kale fan. I eat it in salads and put it iny smoothies. I have been wanting to make kale chips at home for awhile. Kale chips are very expensive at the store and this would drastically cut the cost.
I have had a dehydrator in the past. I love what you can make; I just didn't love the one I had. I would love to dehydrate fruit for snacks, fresh herbs grown in the garden & beef jerky. My husband and son really would love having jerky again.
Deer and turkey jerky of course! LOL! We make jerky in the oven, it takes a while but is great! Its a snack that I do not mind the kids eating before dinner :)
thank you for the chance to win a real dehydrator.
I would make deer and turkey jerky. We make ours in the oven but it would be nice to actually have a dehydrator.

I would use it to dehydrate fruit for my kids for travel and to make jerky!
Would love to win this so I could stop paying for all of the dried apple slices and the like for my daughters lunch/snacks. That and to make my own jerky and other dried fruits. :) Thanks! blondredhead at mac dot com
We'd make jerky. I'd also like to dry some of my herbs. I've never done that before.
If I won this, it would help me to be healthier. I could dehydrate fruit and veggies, and eat these in place of other snacks.
My mom wants to use it for veggies
