We love Kellogg's Frosted Mini-Wheats. But, I wasn't aware there's a class action lawsuit against them. If you purchased Frosted Mini-Wheats in the United States between 2008 and 2009, you may be eligible to receive up to $15 from the settlement.
Kellogg's stands by its advertising and denies any wrongdoing, but agrees to establish a $4 million class action lawsuit settlement fund to refund consumers to resolve the litigation.
A federal judge preliminarily approved the class action settlement on May 5.
Members of the class action settlement include anyone who purchased the cereal between January 28, 2008 and October 1, 2009.
You can seek reimbursement of $5 per box of cereal purchased, up to a maximum of three boxes for a total of $15.
To receive a cash payment, you must submit a valid online claim at www.CerealSettlement.com, or a postmarked claim no later than 80 days after the court grants final approval to the class action lawsuit settlement.
The form deadline will be no earlier than Nov. 28, 2013. A Final Fairness Hearing has been scheduled for Sept. 9, 2013. Keep checking for updates for the deadline. Check www.CerealSettlement.com.
