Since April of 2009, Barbara's Beat has been blogging about family issues; helping moms find deals;  find coupons and resources to save money and make life easier; win giveaways; and learn about consumer issues. 

We also promote MOMtrepreneurs and DADtrepreneurs.

With three grandkids, we run the gamut from little girl parties, princesses, balls and Barbies; to big boys, going four-wheeling, playing sports, and going hunting. Yesterday all three of them spent the day rock climbing, but that's another story.

    The GC would be for either my brother and his wife, or for me and my mom, who would use it as a great convenience to eat somewhere that has good food when we are too tired or stay too late at the hospital, where my 20 month old nephew is undergoing chemo for neuroblastoma until late in the year.

    We would use this for a family lunch when we go to "town" for a movie, said "town" is 75 miles away so it's an occasion :) We live in a very rural area and Applebee's is a treat!
