It was great to find out there were other bloggers with the same questions I had. After searching through everything available on the free side of the site at the time, I decided to join BFPR as an elite member and learn some more.
Melissa and Doug Tiered Cake from Gummy Lump.

As soon as I joined, BFPR sent me my first campaign opportunity from Gummy Lump Toy Store. We got to test a Melissa and Doug play food Tiered Cake and Cupcake Set, and my granddaughter still loves them. We've been given other opportunities since then, too.
I found that the press releases were fascinating. PR is always looking for bloggers for something and the releases are there for you to pick and choose what you want to reply to. I have to admit, I learned to put my big girl pants on and move full steam ahead sending out emails. All they could say is no. But, I started getting a lot of yes, please, send us your address.
But, one of my favorite things about using BFPR Elite is the group of bloggers who share their contact information. This information is invaluable to a blogger, especially one who has few contacts.
Other things you'll find on the elite forum include a place where you can ask bloggers questions that aren't 'out in the open'. It's not that bloggers don't don't want to share, it's that they have to be careful not to make anyone mad.
You can even learn a little more about how to make money on your blog, if that's what you're interested in doing. When we started this blog, it was for entering giveaways. Things change with time and knowledge.
Whatever you decide to do about joining BFPR elite, you should check out the free site. You may find it's what you've been looking for and join. There are two options to join the elite forums - monthly and annually.
Good luck and I look forward to seeing you there. My board name is blp3.
