MOMpreneur Tip of The Day: Sarah's Homemade Vicks Shower Disk Thingies

Sarah's Homemade Vicks Shower Disk Thingies
Sarah, at Frugal by Choice, Cheap by Necessity, has come up with a recipe to help moms with sick kids breathe better. She said they're used in a steamy shower so the vapors can clear stuffy noses.

I remember as a child my mom rubbed Vicks VapoRub on my chest and covered it with a warm towel. I use to add Vicks to the vaporizer for my kids to help their cough.

But, times are hard and these days we have to do what we can to save money and keep our kids healthy. Sarah's shower disks are easy to make and cost a lot less.

Ingredients list:
Baking soda
Water
Essential oils: eucalyptus, rosemary, and lavender.
Muffin tin or silicone muffin pan
Muffin liners if using a tin pan
storage container

For the exact amount of ingredients, or what to do with them, please visit Sarah's blog. Tell her Barbara's Beat sent you.
