Bunk Beds recalled due to safety violations


 Consumers should stop using this product. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.

Description
This recall involves a Twin-over-Twin model 341-33, and a Twin-over-Futon model 344-54 bunk beds. Both models have wooden corner posts in a dark finish with wrought iron end structures on the headboards and footboards.  A label on the interior surface of the corner post has “DISTRIBUTOR: WORLD IMPORTS” and the model number printed on it.
Incidents/Injuries
No injuries were reported.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the product and contact the firm for a free repair kit with instructions.
Sold at
Independent juvenile and other furniture stores in the eastern United States between August 2009 to February 2012 for about $250 to $300.
