Veterans get a free Bloomin' Onion at Outback

Outback Steakhouse gives Veterans free Bloomin' Onion.

Today and Monday, Veterans can get a free Bloomin' Onion and Coca-Cola product at Outback Steakhouse. This offer is for veterans as well as active duty military.

You need to bring in one ID such as a U.S. Uniform Services ID card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired ID card, current Leave and Earnings statement, DD form 214, a veterans organization card, a photograph of you in uniform, or you can wear your uniform to get your free Veterans Day meal.

Outback Steakhouse is also giving out a military discount of 10% off the total check Nov. 13 - Dec. 31.

Supporting our troops and their families has been Outback's longstanding commitment. What began as a grassroots initiative in Tampa, Florida, when Outback Steakhouse was founded nearly 23 years ago, has grown into an international effort.

Outback launched Operation Feeding Freedom in 2002, sending a team of volunteer employees to Afghanistan to feed American troops. Since then, Outback has made a total of nine trips to the Middle East and served more than 215,000 troops, bringing them a much needed taste of home.

For the past two years, with your help, Outback has donated $2 Million to Operation Homefront, a non-profit organization providing everyday and emergency support for active troops, wounded warriors and their families.
