Our granddaughter, Kristen, loves her Fijit Serafina™. But, Serafina has been lonely, until now. She has Mattel Fijit Friends Newbies™ to interact with now, and keep her company.
Kristen and Serfina's Newbie Friends are, the black one she likes best, Trick or Treat Tika, who makes Halloween sound effects. The red one, Winter Cheer Zia, who makes holiday sound effects. And, the green one, Melodee, who sings, purrs and giggles.

When you have more than one Newbie, you can press the duet button on their tummys they will sing together. And, if you have an original Fijit like Serafina, the Newbies will interact with her, too, when it is in "chirp" mode. Newbies even unlock the magic in Fijit Friends™.
When you first get a Fijit Friends Newbie, it's best to replace the three button try-me batteries with new ones. I used A13 batteries. But, I must say they weren't easy to replace.
I was pleased with the packaging, because it was so easy to open.

I've seen these advertised on t.v. and wondered if they would be any fun. I've got nieces and nephews to buy for and these may work just fine!

Glad I found this review. I have seen these toys in the store and really wasnt sure the purpose. I was looking for a gift for my niece. Read the review and asked my niece about them and she was all excited to get one. So thanks for the info on the Fijit. Helped in the bday gift selection!!
Those actually looke pretty cute! I think I was offered a chance to review them and didn't think my grandson would like them, now I can kick myself for not agreeing to do it!
