Kristen's first trip to the fair - she loved it

Going to the fair is about family fun, riding rides and eating junk food. But, every year the fair comes to town something happens to prevent Kristen from being able to join her brothers on the annual trip. This year she finally made it, and she loved it.

Kristen wanted to ride all the rides. Along the way she found a couple that she wanted to ride more than once.

Since she hadn't been on a lot of rides, I was concerned she would be afraid once she was on some of them. It didn't bother her if they went fast, or bumped, or jerked her around. She was laughing through it all.

It was a great time. I'm so glad I got to share it with my grandkids, although my grandsons go every year and didn't want to ride
One thing Kristen loves is animals. So it was no surprise when she wanted to ride the biggest horse, Whiskey.

She was allowed to walk through the petting zoo, but not touch any of the animals for fear of getting sick.

 

She went flying high on a bee, with another girl she met at the fair. I thought for sure she wouldn't like that ride, but she did.

 

 

She had some rides all to herself. She picked her car by color, not number.
  

 

As high as that slide was she wasn't afraid to climb up those steps and come down by herself. She even wanted to do it more than once.

 

 

The final thing she wanted to do was the biggest surprise. She even said she loved it the most. She wanted to watch the demolition derby, even though it had started raining.

  

We all had a great time and can't wait until next year.
