MOMtrepreneur Baker of the Day:
Sugar and Cloth's fairy bread

Ashley of Sugar and Cloth, has a cute way to serve sandwiches to a little princess, or for a tea party. Her fairy bread may even make a great back-to-school snack, since she doesn't make it the traditional way.

I fell in love with these when I saw them. At first I wasn't sure if my eyes were deceiving me, so I did a double take.

What little girl - what child would say no to a sandwich like this? Every kid at school would be so jealous and want to trade, that's for sure.

As you can see, this recipe takes bread and sprinkles. But, Ashley said the traditional fairy bread calls for butter to be spread on the bread. She doesn't do that.

If you would like to find out what Ashley uses on her bread to hold the sprinkles, you have to go to her site for the answer.

While you're there you'll find many more wonderful recipes. Let her know you found her site linked from Barbara's Beat.

This would be something fun to make with Tee and Bee.

I read what she uses to put hers together, but I won't spoil it here. The first choice she lists would be our favorite.

That's so cute! What little girl could turn this sandwich down? That would be great for tea parties or for a special lunch surprise.
