Health plans to cover preventative care without cost sharing begins today

Beginning today women no longer have an excuse for not going to the doctor for preventative health-care services. We are now guaranteed services without deductibles or co-pays.

Women are the backbone of the family. Yet, we put our own health on the back burner, and jeopardize our entire family. A simple mammogram can detect breast cancer early so we can be with our loved ones much longer.

We can get well-woman visits, contraception, preconception and prenatal care, and screenings for breast cancer mammography, gestational diabetes, cervical cancer, and Osteoporosis. HealthCare.gov has a full list of services.

Also, starting today, insurance companies can no longer charge us for contraceptive methods approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
