Patricia, as our first-born, every year it gets harder to accept how you've grown into your own woman, wife, and mother. You've made us very proud.
We were only babies when we had you, but we did good.
As a parent, we had to teach and guide you, then set you free to grow on your own, even when it broke our hearts. Being thousands of miles apart and unable to help you when you needed us was the worst feeling a parent can have. But, you managed fine on your own.
Lucky for us, you've made wise choices. You're smart, beautiful, and a wonderful wife and mom. But, no matter how old you get, you'll always be our little girl.
