Do you love Krispy Kreme doughnuts? I do. We use to drive to Charlotte as teenagers to buy them, because they weren't available near us.


Join Krispy Kreme for its 75th Birthday Party Weekend. On July 13, there's a Street Party Celebration on Trade St., in downtown Winston-Salem, N.C., from 7-10 pm. On July 14 there will be a Family FanFest in Old Salem, N.C., from 9 am - noon. Both events are open to the public, and admission is free.

Friday Night Krispy Kreme Block Party and Glaze the Nation Tour Stop will include:

-Free HOT Original Glazed Doughnuts
-A-Town A-List Band (at the corner of Trade and Sixth Streets).
-Krispy Kreme Cruiser
-Krispy Kreme Hot Now Mobile Store that produces hot doughnuts
-Samples of Krispy Kreme signature products and beverages

*The street party is being presented in conjunction with the Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership.

-Family FanFest at Old Salem will feature:
-Free HOT Original Glazed Doughnuts
-Doughnuts and coffee
-Rides, games, and inflatables along Main Street and on the historic Salem square.
-A Krispy Kreme “Touch a Truck”
-Special photo and social media opportunities.
-Additional activities will be provided by local nonprofit groups.
-At 10 a.m. on July 14, Krispy Kreme officials will dedicate a permanent marker in Old Salem to commemorate the location of the first Krispy Kreme Doughnut shop.
