MOMtrepreneur Tip of the Day: DIY How to make homemade baby wipes

Kimberly Danger of Money Savers says making homemade baby wipes is not only easy, it’s fun. And, of course it saves money. This homemade DIY version costs just pennies, which is much less than store-bought wipes, she says.

Homemade Baby Wipes
1 roll of Bounty (or another thick, quality brand) paper towels
2-1/4 cups of water
2 Tbsp. baby bath or shampoo
1 Tbsp. baby oil

To get the complete how to and tips from Kimberly and her readers suggestions you have to visit her blog.

Great tip, thanks! We still use baby wipes all the time.

I could have used these when my kids were younger.

I wish I'd seen this yesterday! I use baby wipes to wipe my makeup off my face and had to stop on my way home last night and pick some up. I will try making my own next time. Thanks for sharing!

I make my own wipe solution very similar to this for my cloth wipes. Instead of baby oil, I use witch hazel.

Baby wipes are very useful - whether you have a baby or not. They cleanup messes, make you feel fresh, remove make up....You go through a lot. Great that you can make your own and save money.
