Dirty Soap doesn't mind airing dirty laundry. Last night's premiere episode of Dirty Soap had soaps stars with real life problems. They were having problems with a break-up, dissing on each other, arguing with each other, there was a jealous wife, and a sad departure.
Stars include: Galen Gering of Day of Our Lives and his real wife Jenna Gering; Brandon Beemer who played Shawn-Douglas Brady on Days of our Lives and presently plays Owen on The Bold and the Beautiful and his real life girlfriend Nadia Bjorlin who plays Chloe Lane on Days of Our Lives; Kirsten Storms who played Belle on Days of O Lives, and presently plays Maxie Jones on General Hospital; Kelly Monaco plays Sam McCall on General Hospital; John-Paul Lavoisier and girlfriend Farah Fath both play on One Life to Live.
The Twitter viewing party was trending worldwide as the show aired. ABC and other networks have to be kicking themselves for canceling soaps instead of finding a way for working moms to watch. They didn't get creative. It's they who didn't meet our needs, not us who stopped watching.
Now, they're stuck with shows we won't watch because we will tune in to other soaps still on the air. The jokes on them.
