MOMtrepreneur Tip of the Day: How to make your own detangling spray

This is our first MOMtreprenuer Tip of the Day.

Anyone who follows my blog knows my granddaughter has long curly hair. It's hard to brush it without hurting her, so we use detangling spray which can be expensive.

Emma of has a solution to the high price of buying detangling sprays. She makes her own. If you want to know how, visit her blog for the directions.

We are always looking for MOMtreprenuer Tips, Crafters, and Bakers. Leave us a comment with a suggestion any time.

I used to use that same detangling spray but now I can't find it anywhere! My daughter also has curly hair and it's hard to do anything with it!

Thank you for the tip! My daughter has curly hair, too! I LOVE the curls! Conditioner and detangler are a must. We also have a little fabric headband that we make on days when we just don't feel like doing much styling...
Thanks for your site!

Well, as simple as that - water and conditioner...I love it! I never thought of doing that. I will use it on myself.

This is just great. My daughter's tight curls snag constantly making brushing or combing her hair a nightmare without detangler. Thanks so very much for directing us to this amazingly simple tip. :)

Awesome, thanks for the link. I've got two daughters with curly hair. One is still very young so it's manageable but soon it will be a challenge!

this is great, my daughters have fine thin hair so it gets stringy and scraggly easy- hope this helps!

wow I read the "recipe" for the spray at Crafty Couples blog and how easy it that?? Almost unbelieveable, lol If that works I would jump for joy. My niece has long hair that is thick and curly. I bet she won't want to get her hair cut anymore if it does work!! Thanks for sharing :)

I try to keep my niece stocked up in this since her hair gets tangled so easily and she doesn't like to brush it because of the tangles. So glad I found you and the recipe for this hair detangler.

This is great my daughter has really tight curls and it is super hard to brush her hair. I've tried several different brands and just don't seem to think I need to spend extra money on it when I can make my own.
