MOMtrepreneur Baker of the Day: Birthday Cake Brownie Pops

Sometimes a big cake is too much. But, cupcakes aren't what you want either. So what can you make?

Cake Pops are the hottest new thing. Andrea at Strawberry Chic has a tutorial on how to make Mini Cake - "Cake Pops".

You will need...
1 box chocolate cake mix (cook as directed on box for 13 X 9 cake)
1 can cream cheese butter-cream frosting (16 oz.) or approx. 2 cups

White chocolate melts (can purchase at Walmart or craft stores)
lollipop sticks (can purchase at craft stores)
A small amount of butter-cream frosting to decorate mini cakes
Frosting bag, coupler, and #2 or #3 frosting tip
1" diameter round cookie cutter
Wax paper
Shortening
Styrofoam square (can purchase at most craft stores)
Go to her site for the instructions.

After seeing Andrea's Cake Pops, Sue at Munchkin Munchies, decided to turn them into Birthday Cake Brownie Pops. She changed the cake into brownie pops, shaped them using Andrea's directions, and added a candle and sprinkles. For the directions go to her site.

Happy Birthday!

Those are so nice. Looks like it took some work to decorate each of them. Lots of detail.
