Lauren Aleana kissed him when he won, then kissed his face several times later on. I think they truly are great friends.
It didn't matter who won tonight, America got it right, because country music won. We got not one, but two Idols that will be chart toppers.
Tonight's win puts to rest all the whispers of a fix from last night's show. I love Lauren and I know she is going to be a super star. She has it all and will follow in the footsteps of her idol, Carrie Underwood.
It was great to hear Scotty sing with Tim McGraw. And it was a highlight to hear Lauren and Carrie Underwood sing a duet together.
Tonight's win also doesn't break the winning streak of the guys. Maybe a female will win next year.

It's ironic that the new judges, especially rock star Steven Tyler, said he wanted rock music to prevail this year and yet the final two were country. And, after watching every show this season, I feel Steven and pop diva Jennifer Lopez, were out to boost their own careers.
I never liked Seven's foul language. And tonight, I didn't like the JLo thrusting performance with her husband Marc Anthony. And that was on top of the bad taste edgy show of Lady Gaga.
I see no reason why they need to be so sexual knowing tweens are watching this show.
Congrats to Scotty and Lauren. I see no loser tonight. I can't wait to hear what comes after your obligation to Idol is fulfilled.
