Spent Easter with moms; ate well

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter - a good time with family, friends, and good food.

We went to my mom and brother's home for dinner. My nephew, Michael, his wife, Jeanene, his sister, Elizabeth, and my niece, Emily, were there long enough for me to give Emily a present for her first Easter, but they had to leave. Michael had to take his sister back to Virginia.

Between my mom and I we had plenty of food, and it was so good: ham, potato salad, deviled eggs, green beans, pineapple, sweet potato casserole, cucumbers and onion salad, baked macaroni and cheese, cake, fruit salad, yeast rolls, and cheese cake.

After spending a relaxing time with my family, we took dinner to my mom-in-law. She was happy to see us with all the goodies. We visited with her for a long while just relaxing and talking, before coming home to eat a ham sandwich.

It was a wonderful day, but I am sure stuffed.
