Sonic's Limeades For Learning® partners with DoorsChoose.org to donate $500,000 to schools

For a second year, SONIC® will donate more than half a million dollars to classrooms  countrywide through their Limeades For Learning partnership with DonorsChoose.org.

By October, SONIC customers, friends and fans will have spent more than $1 million dollars to support teachers in local communities across the country.

Anyone with a valid e-mail address can vote once per day for their favorite project.

SONIC is donating $100,000 a week to support the top vote-getters. If 1 million votes are cast by September 30, SONIC will add an additional $100,000 to fund the program an extra week.

A SONIC Teacher is any US public school teacher who is currently registered as a “SONIC Teacher” at DonorsChoose.org. SONIC Teachers’ projects are eligible for SONIC funding through the Limeades for Learning partnership.

All projects had to be submitted by Aug. 15.
