Brandy, of Not So Average Mama, was told last Friday night that she had a mass the size of a volley ball on her left ovary that is probably Ovarian Cancer. She has no insurance and was turned away from by doctors and hospitals even though she was in need of emergency surgery.
Thursday, she was lucky and found a caring hospital which performed the procedure. The mass, she name Spike, is the size of a basketball, has been removed. She lost her ovary.
Shan, of Last Shreds Of Sanity, is planning a fundraiser auction to help defer the costs of her medical care. The auction date has bot been announced.
