Happy 75th birthday Elvis, I love you

I can remember the day my husband came home unexpectedly, while we were in the Army stationed in Germany, and asked me if I had been listening to the radio. When he found out I had not, he delivered the news to me that rocked my world. Elvis was dead.

Elvis was the other love of my life when I was 16. And my husband knew I would break down. And I did. I cried until I couldn't cry any more.

I never got to see Elvis in concert. That was one thing I wanted more than anything in the world.

Now, all I have is today's technology to keep me in touch with Elvis. Since today would have been the King's 75th birthday, the crowds were big and Facebook and Twitter were live at Graceland.

According to @Cirque du Soleil, the show Viva ELVIS™, at ARIA Resort and Casino™ at CityCenter in Las Vegas which started December 18, 2009, is a hot ticket. It is a tribute to the life and music of Elvis Presley.
