Home Depot offers Kids Workshops

Where can your kids go to learn, feel great and have fun?

The Home Depot offers how-to-workshops for kids ages 5 to 12. They get to build, learn and and take home a craft on the first Saturday of each month for free, between 9 a.m. and noon.

The workshops projects include the creation of a firehouse bank, which was the project on October 3, toolboxes, and tile trivets, which is scheduled for November 7.

The workshops teach children do-it-yourself skills and tool safety. The kids also feel a great sense of accomplishment. It's fun, quality, one-on-one time between adults and children.

In addition to the project kit, each child receives a kid-sized orange apron, similar to The Home Depot associates' aprons, and an achievement pin.
