Energizer Battery supports breast cancer

Energizer Battery, Inc., is the Presenting Sponsor of the 2009 Breast Cancer 3-Day® benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. The "Breast Cancer 3-Day" is a series where participants walk 60 miles in three days, to raise funds to support breast cancer research, education and community health programs.

Who are you walking for?

You can get creative and honor someone that motivates you by downloading a walker bib and personalizing it to acknowledge those that inspire you to walk. Print it and pin to your shirt or buy an iron-on transfer kit.

Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Energizer Battery, Inc., is making it easy for you to help with the fight. For every new Energizer Bunny Facebook fan through the end of October, Energizer will give $1 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure - up to $10,000.

The Energizer Family of Brands will donate a total of $400,000 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure® in support of the fight against breast cancer this year.

You can also join the cure by adding your dedication to a person you love who is fighting this ugly disease.

Energizer Limited Edition pink batteries are in stores throughout October to support the cause, too. And you can get a free Keep Going® Journal by mail, while supplies last, with the purchase of three select Energizer® battery products. You must download a form. The offer expires March 31, 2010.
