Ksmart Assist Savings program helps the unemployed in Michigan

Kmart has a program, Ksmart Assist Savings, to help the unemployed in Michigan. You can get 20% off select Kmart brand merchandise.

Kmart brands gives you huge savings versus national brands every day, and now you'll get to increase savings by an additional 20% off on more than 1,000 regular-priced grocery and drugstore merchandise for up to six months with this program.

To get 20% off you must have a reusable smart assists savings card.

Eligibility for Kmart customers who are Michigan residents and present state-issued identification - driver’s license or identification card - and a state-issued unemployment benefits enrollment confirmation, are eligible to participate in the program.

At checkout, cardholders will be required to show their valid discount card, their state-issued identification card for signature verification, and their state-issued unemployment benefits enrollment verification. Valid signature verification is required to use the card.
