Momtreprenuer Crafter of the Day: Fabric bunny eggs, and fabric basket

Angela Yosten at Moda Bakeshop has beautiful Bunny Eggs that are not only a great family craft, but they last forever.

Ingredients for the Bunny Eggs
1 Honey Bun - featured Verna by Kate Spain (Honey Buns contains 40 strips – each strip is 1 ½ ” x 45”)

Mod Podge
Paper Mache eggs or styrofoam eggs
Large paint brush
Scissors
Plastic table cover (one you can throw away)

A tutorial for the Bunny Eggs project is illustrated with step-by-step pictures on Angela's site.
Ingredients for the Fabric Basket
1 honey bun of your choice (featured is "Swanky" but another cute softer option would be aviary by 3 sisters)
1 package of piping (6 yards) Angela used Wrights 12/32" cotton filler cord

39 inches of smaller piping (for handle) and she used Writes 6/32" cotton filler cord (comes in a package of 10 yards)
Angela's needle was a regular 'ol needle (but make sure you have a THIMBLE, it's murder on the finger without!)
Angela used "Mettler" cotton silk finished thread (it's sturdy) if you don't have that just use quilting thread or sturdy thread.

A tutorial for the Fabric Basket project is illustrated with step-by-step pictures on Angela's site.

That is SO cool! What a fun project and could easily include the kids to help with it!
