Getting kids in the kitchen is the best way to get them interested in eating new things. And, Funbites will get them in the kitchen, because it's so much fun to use.
My granddaughter, Kristen, 4, was tickled to use Funbites, a new kitchen tool that cuts kids’ food into fun-shaped, bite-sized
pieces. She was supervised and very careful, but she had so much fun being creative.
She started with a roll of biscuits. Using the Cube it! cutter, she made square snacks, put some cinnamon sugar
on top and baked them.
Then
she used the cookie dough, chocolate chip of course, it's her favorite. The dough was too messy and wouldn't work so she flattened it out and baked it, then used the Cube it! cutter and made some bite sized pieces. YUM.
Then she took bread, ham and cheese, made a sandwich, pressed the Luv it! cutter on top and pushed the pieces out and we had snack-sized sandwiches.
When we were done we had snacks that were yummy and cute. Kristen enjoyed making them and eating them, too.
Kids eat with their eyes first like adults. This is a perfect way for us to get them to eat some healthier foods. Funbites works on any kid-friendly food from pancakes, cheeses, quesadillas, and french toast, to fruit, turkey burgers, and deli sandwiches. The possibilities are endless.
Available in two fun shapes Luv
it! (creates one big heart created from 10 geometric shapes) and Cube
it! (creates 12 bite-sized squares), each FunBites pack retails for $12.99 and includes a
“cutter” with matching “popper.” It's also dishwasher-safe and BPA-free.
In the 10 weeks since Funbites launched, it has been featured on CBS Morning News, reached 35,000 fans on Facebook, has had rave reviews from mommy bloggers, been featured on Parenting.com, and has boutique
retail distribution in NY and CT.
I think this is such a great product, and so much fun!! My oldest daughter, who is 5, would have so much fun cutting all of her food into fun shapes! I think she would love the heart shape the best. :)
