Gerber Life contacts us when we have a baby. It helps us insure our baby and set up a college savings plan. But, sometimes we don't do what we should to prepare for our child's future. Gerber Life has that covered, too.

The Gerber Life “Bring Dreams to Life Video Contest” is a video contest. It gives parents the perfect opportunity to “show and tell” their story and earn a chance to win a $10,000 Gerber Life College Plan.

Entering the Bring Dreams to Life contest is simple:

•  Step 1 - Take a video of your child (who must be 8 years or younger) telling what he or she dreams of being when they grow up.

•  Step 2 - Log onto the Gerber Life Facebook page through April 1 and submit your video to the Bring Dreams to Life contest.

•  Step 3 - Share your child’s video with friends and family on Facebook to get votes for a chance to win a $10,000 Gerber Life College Plan. Videos with 100 or more votes will qualify for the final round.

So far, the person with the highest number of votes has 139. So don't wait to get that video entry done.

The grand prize is the $10,000 Gerber Life College Plan, but there will always be 10 $100 winners, and everyone who enters gets a coloring book.

Video requirements:

• Upload a separate video for each child. Only one video per child.
• Most kinds of video are acceptable, including (.avi, .mov, .mpg, .mp4, .mpeg, .wav.)
• Maximum length is 60 seconds
• Only videos submitted in English and suitable for publication are eligible.

 How it works:

1. Create a short video of your child that answers the question, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” You can create and enter a different video for each child.
2. Complete the entry form and upload your video.
3. Get friends and family to vote for your video. Once you get 100 or more votes, your video will enter the final round.
4. A panel of judges will review the final round of videos and select one Grand Prize winner and ten Runners Up.

April 1 ‐ Last day to enter a video into the contest
April 8 ‐ Last day to vote on videos
April 9 ‐ Finalists announced
April 24 ‐ Winners announced
