Win a Wahl Hot/Cold Therapy Massaging Gel Pack 5/22

This review was made possible by Mom Spark Media. Thoughts are my own. I received a Wahl Hot/Cold Massager for the purpose of this review.

As a mom and grandma, I know how hard it can be to take care of yourself when you always put your family first. This Mother's Day, you should do something for yourself, or maybe for your mom, that can help you relax at the end of a hard day. I use the Wahl massager/gel pack to wrap around my neck while I watch TV and let the stress of the day melt away.

Wahl massagers, www.wahlmassagers.com, are great for the aches and pains after chasing kids all day or gardening. It works wonders on a stiff neck or for headache pain. And, of my aching back feels so much better with my new massager.

As my mom always tells me, cold helps relieve pain and decrease swelling, decreasing inflammation. Heat helps relax muscles and increase blood flow, relieving muscle tension.

The massager takes two triple AA batteries. I must admit, I had problems opening the battery compartment of the massaging disc. Hopefully it gets easier over time. But, there's no problem with the vibration. At first I couldn't get it to come on and thought it was defective. But, when I pushed the button down again, I found out it definitely works well.

The best thing I found to do is follow the directions. I usually skip over them, but for sure you never want to freeze or microwave the massaging disc.

The Hot/Cold Therapy Massaging Gel Pack is one-part massager, one-part hot/cold pack. It's the latest in a series of new pain management products from Wahl. Unlike conventional hot/cold packs, this first-of-its-kind product combines two of the most common treatments - temperature therapy and  massage - to offer a new level of pain relief. It also has Velcro straps for hands-free use.

You can purchase the Wahl massager at stores like Walmart, Target, Macy's, and Sears, to name a few. For a full list of locations clickhere. The suggested retail price is $24.99.

You can follow Wahl on Twitter, YouTube and Facebook to find more ways to win products. You can also win one here. All you have to do is enter on the Rafflecopter below.

I would love to have this for myself. I had a fall a few years back and damaged my lower back & hip, I now have constant pain, inflammation, and muscle spasms. I try to find as much non-medication relievers as possible. I do use a TENs unit, Bio-freeze, ice packs, heating pads, etc.
