Ladies, if you like it hot, your time's coming #CBias #PoiseFab5

You no longer have to suffer through menopause alone. New Poise products are now available at Walmart for Hot Flashes, Daily Freshness, Intimacy and more. Poise is also providing women the information they need for the 2nd Talk.
Shh, ladies, I want to tell to you about a secret. You know, the 'M' word. No, not menstruation, the second one, menopause.

Menopause must be a secret. Because, no one talks about it. It creeps up, grabs you, and no one can stand you, not even yourself.

These are the three Poise Feminine Wellness products I bought at Walmart to try.  Personally, I really like all of them.

When everyone else is cold, I'm the only one that's having hot flashes. I've been sweating bullets for years and didn't know why.

I argued with my doctor when she said I was 'going through the change of life'. No! Not me! Not yet!  I'm not old enough! She had to prove it to me, so she spelled it out with my blood. Then, she gave me 'The 2nd Talk'.

Oh crap! You mean I traded number one for number two? I can't count how many times I wanted my monthly friend to disappear. But, if I had only known then what I know now!

That's why I make puddles of sweat in bed! That's why I'm so depressed I don't want to get out of bed, and I can't get along with anyone - including myself! That's why I've gained weight! I'm so glad there's a reason for all my misery, and why I feel I'm aging so fast.

I begged my doctor for a magic pill to make it go away. But, there was no pill for me. All she could give me is a tiny little patch. What? This is supposed to make  my life better? Well, it kinda works. As long as I change it on time, and I don't run out. My husband says to warn him before I run out of patches though, because I get mean when my hormones get out of control.

This is my 'Change of Life' recipe for hot flashes. I can't live without my hormone patches. I drink more flavored water than anything else. And, fruit and yogurt are now a part of my diet. I never thought I would eat yogurt, but I found I like lemon a lot.

But, that patch isn't a cure-all. I've had to change a lot of other things in my life. I never use to drink water. Yuck! I was a multi-soft drink a day person. Now, maybe I drink one diet soft drink a day, but I drink a lot of water. My body screams for it.

Menopause makes bones more fragile. I've had to change things in my diet. Yogurt is my new friend. I eat a lot of it. Frozen yogurt is my replacement for ice cream, too. And, fruit and veggies are eaten at my house daily.

You ladies who haven't had this friend drop by yet, may not have to go through the joys I've experienced. September is Menopause Awareness month, and a new line called, Poise Feminine Wellness products, came out to make menopause easier to bare.

There are so many places trying to help your 'M' experience by giving you $1 off coupons to try the products: Sept. All You magazine has $1/2 Poise Feminine Wellness Product, exp. 11/30/12; Poise online; and the Poise brand page at Walmart online. The Walmart site even has videos about the products.

COOLING

I can't imagine going without the Poise Body Cooling Towelettes again. When a hot flash strikes, all I can think of is cooling down. My face turns blood red like I have a sunburn. I start dripping like I came in from a rain shower. I will carry these in my purse so when I have a hot flash I can use one to wipe down my face and neck. It doesn't smell bad, and it feels cool like a washcloth. They offer an instant cooling sensation and feels refreshing during a hot flash. So far I am impressed how well it works and the reviews of others are great, too.

Poise Roll-On Cooling Gel®  is available, but they were sold out. Poise Roll-On Cooling Gel helps you feel comfortable and refreshed. You gently roll it onto your wrists, chest or neck for a cooling sensation that is supposed to last up to 10 minutes. It's is scented, and moisturizing. The reviews so far are not good.

FRESHNESS

Poise Feminine Wash is a gentle wash with a unique formulation that is pH-balanced for the intimate area. It  can be used for daily freshness. It's hypoallergenic, made without Glycerin and Parabens, and gynecologist tested to help you feel clean and confident. Reviews of the one are 50/50 so far.

Poise Panty Fresheners weren't in stock so I personnaly haven't tried them. They are discreet, feminine fresheners that have a scent that is supposed to last up to 4 hours. There's 24 individual use fresheners in a pack. You remove the backing and stick the freshener to the outside of your undergarment. The reviews so far are negative. It seems the scent is faint, and the sticky is strong. Trying to remove the product from undergarments is proving to be as much fun as menopause.

INTIMACY

Poise Personal Lubricant is a new option to enhance intimate moments. It comes in an easy to use bottle designed to dispense just the right amount. Its smooth texture allows for effortless application and easy removal with water. It's made without glycerin, parabens or any fragrances, and is pH-balanced. One reviewer so far and she loves it.

During my Walmart shopping trip for Poise Feminine Wellness products, I not only got Halloween candy, but I started my Christmas shopping.

I love that we are all talking about it now and it's going to make "starting" so much easier...hopefully!

Thank you for sharing your honest story about menopause! This is going to help others a lot when they start to research.

LOL that your husband says to tell him when you run out of patches. Sounds like something my guy would say.

Menopause caught me unawares too. It wasn't until I accepted it and just let it happen, that it eased up on me.
