A Christmas tree for the birds

My grandson, Tyler, shows off the the tree after it's decorated with bird cookies.

Bird Cookie Recipe used, shared by my daughter:
1 cup softened unsalted butter
3 beaten eggs
3 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
mixed birdseed
stir flour, baking soda and salt
add butter and eggs
Mix ingredients
Roll dough out on a floured surface and cut different shapes with cookie cutters
Make a hole in the top of each cookie with a drinking straw
Press birdseed into each side of the cookie
Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes
Tie a ribbon after they are cool and put them on the tree

Dylan and Tyler had fun going to get the tree.

Tyler, Kristen and Dylan enjoyed the trip to the mountains for a tree.

They enjoyed finding snow, too.

Kristen really enjoyed the snow.

She had a ball! A snow ball.
